Responsibilities
- Design and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional quantum projects
- Secure external research funding through grant applications
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or physics
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation tools (e.g., Qiskit Aer, Quil)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment
