Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing protocols on multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum error correction architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF, DOE, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional quantum research pods
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for next-gen AI applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of securing competitive research funding
