Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum systems with 100+ qubit stability
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure patents in quantum information theory
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise clients in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships with quantum hardware pioneers
- Architect secure quantum networks with zero-knowledge encryption protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into scalable quantum prototypes
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing architectures
- Experience securing $1M+ in research grants from NSF or DARPA
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum control systems
