Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence times
- Lead experiments on superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure competitive research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environments
