Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-develop quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through strategic proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing publications
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error mitigation and decoherence management
- Proven ability to secure government or corporate research funding
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams of 10+ researchers
