Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for finance and healthcare
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols for real-world applications
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Present findings at global tech summits including Web Summit and TechCrunch Disrupt
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and NISQ devices
- Strong Python/C++ skills with low-level hardware optimization
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
