Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum software engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks for quantum data analysis
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
