Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead error-correction research to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier scientific journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years postdoc experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
