Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence and computational fidelity
- Lead experimental validation of quantum advantage claims on real hardware systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conference proceedings
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
