Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into commercial applications
- Develop and maintain quantum computing frameworks in Python and Q#
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and algorithm design
- Proven track record of published research in quantum computing
- Strong proficiency in Python and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
