Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with photonic and superconducting systems
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Author peer-reviewed publications and deliver keynote presentations at major quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry standards for quantum software development
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory, entanglement protocols, and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave) and cloud quantum services
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks and high-performance computing architectures
