Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NLP optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors to achieve error correction milestones
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale AI applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures for specific use cases
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with trapped-ion or superconducting qubits
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with optimization for quantum circuits
