Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuits for real-world quantum processors
- Develop error mitigation strategies to enhance quantum computational reliability
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical HPC systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
