Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using topological quantum computing
- Lead quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Partner with hardware teams to build fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum-resistant encryption methods
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
