Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental validation of quantum circuits using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Lead research publications and patent filings in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to cross-functional innovation sprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published work in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
