Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing prototypes on cutting-edge hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop quantum error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum devices
- Contribute to patent portfolios protecting quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative quantum computing culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or equivalent industry contributions
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python and scientific computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
