Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning

- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation or trapped-ion systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing hardware interfaces
- Track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data analysis
