Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software integration protocols
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap of quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational theory
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications or patent applications
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects with cross-functional teams
