Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional prototyping of quantum-classical hybrid computing platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure and manage $5M+ in government and corporate research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum physics and engineering
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and NASA on 2026 quantum roadmap projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development with published papers in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
