Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum decoherence resistance
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure and manage government/industry research partnerships for 2026 roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
