Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional experiments with superconducting qubit platforms
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (QuTiP, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research environments
