Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate on hardware-software co-design for quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Advise government and industry partners on quantum policy
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
