Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum software with next-generation quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication systems
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure research grants and patents for innovative quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced research environments
- Preferred: Background in machine learning or cryptography applications
