- Conduct advanced research on qubit coherence and error correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional quantum computing workshops
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting or trapped-ion qubits)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
