Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system performance and error correction
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for novel quantum methodologies
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum circuit validation and benchmarking
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum information theory, quantum algorithms, and error correction
- Published research in quantum computing or equivalent industry breakthrough contributions
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or photonic quantum systems
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional research team experience
