Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems

- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2023 graduates preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in NISQ-era quantum hardware limitations and workarounds
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research funding
