Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations at 20-millisecond coherence times
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our industry-academia partnership
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience operating dilution refrigerators (<20mK) and microwave control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement protocols and Bell inequality violations
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Track record of securing NSF or DOE quantum computing grants
