Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with superconducting qubit systems
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers/year in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ in DoE/NSF quantum research grants
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing frameworks
