Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and optimization
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to enhance qubit stability and fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at 100+ qubit scale
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with leading academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with major platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and algorithm development
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and mathematical foundations
