Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to enhance system reliability beyond 99.99% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with photonic and superconducting processors
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry partnerships for quantum adoption
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
