Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at global conferences
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for commercial applications
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces (IBM Quantum Experience, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical research into practical applications
