Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to improve qubit coherence times
- Lead experimental research in superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure NSF/NIH grants
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic setups
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
