Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for computational acceleration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams on quantum machine learning applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Optimize quantum software stacks for cloud-based quantum computing platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype next-generation quantum processors
- Secure government and private research funding for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QASM)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants >$1M
- Preferred: 3+ years industry quantum computing experience
