Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead research teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to accelerate drug discovery through quantum simulation
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop proprietary quantum error-correction codes for commercial deployment
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
