Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance qubit stability and coherence times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world products
- Conduct theoretical research on quantum information theory and quantum many-body systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing protocols on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum computing frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum programming
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python/C++
- Publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced research environments
