Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and error correction
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with industry-standard gate models
- Mentor junior researchers and secure external funding through NSF/DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
