Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for 2026 quantum computing initiatives
- Develop proprietary quantum software libraries with 100K+ user adoption targets
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of quantum error correction and algorithm optimization
- Experience with superconducting/photonic quantum hardware platforms
