Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware systems at 99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale problem-solving
- Collaborate with Nobel laureates to publish breakthrough research in Nature and Science
- Architect error-corrected quantum processors with <10-12 logical error rates
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and topological computing
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA and NSF grants for frontier quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published 5+ papers in top-tier quantum computing journals (arXiv:quant-ph)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and Rigetti's quantum programming stacks
- Proven track record of developing quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
