Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for quantum simulation development
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
