Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Secure $2M+ in federal research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Clearance for DOE/NIST collaborative projects
