Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum simulation for drug discovery and materials science
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop quantum software libraries compatible with emerging hardware platforms
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD interns from top universities

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with scientific computing libraries
- Excellent written communication for grant proposals and technical documentation
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams across 3 time zones
