Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental research on qubit coherence and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop machine learning frameworks for quantum circuit optimization
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and quantum engineering interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics (exceptional candidates with MS + 5yrs experience considered)
- Published research in quantum computing or related field (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical analysis
