Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, AI optimization, and materials science
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong track record of translating theoretical models into experimental results
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with complex multidisciplinary challenges
