Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead error mitigation strategies in multi-qubit quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in quantum computing grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of securing quantum computing patents
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
