Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability and coherence improvements
- Lead research on quantum machine learning applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and industry white papers
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Participate in quantum security standardization initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
