Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in quantum theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Published research in quantum error correction or cryptography
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Ability to secure DoD or NSF clearances if required
