Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with AI and cybersecurity specialists
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and develop quantum computing curricula
- Partner with industry leaders to identify commercialization opportunities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and superconducting qubit systems
