Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026 computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cybersecurity, and renewable energy divisions
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with 3+ annual publications
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DoD and NSF initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction protocols
- Present findings at Davos, TED, and IEEE Quantum Week conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2023 graduates preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Experience with fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
