Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead hardware-software integration projects with superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with international teams on quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Develop roadmaps for quantum supremacy applications by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex mathematical modeling
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
