Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026 industry applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Develop error mitigation strategies for practical quantum advantage in real-world scenarios
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to identify quantum-tractable problems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (superconducting/ion trap systems)
- Proven track record of publishing quantum algorithm research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
